Why do you require an email address when registering?
We send all conference information—your conference schedule, hotel/travel information, registration receipts—via email for faster delivery. For this reason it is better to use an email address you check often. If you do not have an email address, you may want to create one in order to receive conference information. If you have not received an email from us, please check your junk email folder.
Can I register over the phone? No, but you are welcome to register online by going to www.ctcfp.org and following the conference registration links. You may also register by mail or fax—please see information on the registration page of the conference brochure.
I registered for the conference but now can’t attend. Can someone attend in my place?Yes! Please email Susie Miller at millersusa@umkc.edu with the person’s name and contact information who will be attending in your place.
I registered for the conference but would like a refund. How can I get one?You will receive a refund (less a $30 processing fee) if written cancellation is received prior to July 10, 2010. Email your cancellation to Susie Miller at millersusa@umkc.edu.
My employer requires a receipt for reimbursement. How can I get one?An automatic email containing a receipt wil be emailed to you after your registration is processed.
I have special needs. Who should I contact? We’re happy to accommodate any special needs you may have. Please contact Susie Miller at millersusa@umkc.edu by July 10th for assistance.
I am not an advanced practice nurse/physician/physician assistant—can I sign up for preconference sessions? There are several preconference sessions available to any conference participant: “Title X Clinical Update & Case Studies”,” Now What? Taking a Sexual History & Dealing with the Answers”, “Contraception for Newcomers to Women’s Health” and “CPT Coding and Billing for Title X”.
I signed up for a preconference skills session but want to attend a different one. Is this possible?Skills sessions fill up very quickly so there is no guarantee space will be available in another session. Please contact Susie Miller at millersusa@umkc.edu for assistance.
The preconference session I want to attend is no longer open online—is there a waiting list?Waiting lists for preconference sessions may be available. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list, please contact Susie Miller at millersusa@umkc.edu. Include the session you’d like, your contact information and name. Prepayment may be required for the session in order to secure your space. If you register by mail or fax, you will be contacted if the session for which you’ve registered is full; arrangements can then be made for you to be placed on an available waiting list, if you like. Additionally, you may also check with the registration desk during the conference if you are still interested in a session, as spaces may open up.
Can I turn in my registration now but pay registration fees at the conference? No—payment or purchase order must be received with your registration in order for it to be valid.
A purchase order is being mailed/faxed with my registration—what happens next?Your registration will be entered and an invoice sent to your agency requesting payment. Please make sure a contact name, email address, fax number and mailing address for your agency is included on the purchase order. You will also receive an automated email showing the amount due for your registration.
I only work part time at a Title X agency—can I take advantage of the Title X conference rate?Sure—any employees working for a Title X agency can take advantage of the discounted conference rate.
Do part time students receive the student rate?Yes—please include a letter from your academic program director with your registration.
My credit card would not go through online—what should I do?Please check to make sure your credit card can be used for online purchases, sometimes this is the issue. You may also want to verify your credit card balance and expiration date. Sometimes using a browser other than Internet Explorer is the issue, or your agency has blocked certain websites. If you continue to experience issues, please contact your administrative manager or credit card issuer. Please note: your online registration is not valid until your credit card is successfully charged.
I’m concerned about identity theft. Can’t someone steal your credit card number or personal information if you register online?Online registration and payment for the conference is entered on a secure and encrypted website, which means any information you enter cannot be intercepted from our site.
